Brief Company Profile | Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation(MTDC) is a Govt. of Maharashtra owned Co. operating in Maharashtra for the development of Tourism in the State. MTDC executes No. of plans & projects in the interest of tourism development in the state. To name of few, the Ajanta- Ellora Development Project – Phase-I(Completed) and Phase-II(Almost completed), in association with MOT, New Delhi and with the help of JBIC, Konkan Riviera, which involves coastal tourism development, are some to be named. MTDC runs Deccan Odyssey Luxury Train one of the Best Luxury Trains, with modern amenities, in association with Indian Railways. Snorkeling has been started at Tarkarli & soon Scuba Diving faculties will also be made available to the tourists. |
