Brief Company Profile | The City of the seat of the family of Diggi Thikana, whole ancient principality( Diggy Town is located 65kms, from the Jaipur for the thakur family.The main building and its surrounding bagh as well as the fountain was constructed by Thakur Pratab Singh ji Diggi in 1860A.D
The Grand Durbar Hall is an excellent example of the art and fresco work prevalent during that period. All conscious effort have been made to preserve the identity of the building and its surrounding environs. The property as its exists today comprises of one main building, cluster of smaller havelies, stables, various garden spaces, hundreds of trees, pools etc, and is spread over 12 acres of land. Diggi Place is also a home for 30 species of birds, polo ponies, cows and various other animals.
Thakur Ram Pratap Singh converted a part of the property into Hotel and formed a private limited company in 1994. The property comprises of 60 rooms painstakingly restored to their orginal grandeur. The property is also now a home to the prestigious jaipur literature festival and various other cultural and musical activities.
The property is very centrally located, yet very quiet and tranquil as it is recessed away from the main roads of traffic and hubbub.
